Grant J. Shostak, Attorney

Grant J. Shostak has extensive experience practicing law in the state and federal courts in both Missouri and Illinois.  He graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia.  Upon graduation from law school, Grant served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul J. Simon in the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District of Missouri.  When his clerkship ended, Grant entered private practice.

Grant has significant experience defending persons accused of criminal offenses ranging from alcohol-related traffic offenses to criminal drug conspiracies.  He is a life member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Grant has lectured on criminal law topics for the Missouri bar, the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law.  He is also an associate professor at Lindenwood University teaching courses in criminal law.
